Kumail is a lawyer practising civil litigation, employment law and human rights law with Karimjee Greene LLP. He has conducted trials before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and has appeared before the Divisional Court, the Ontario Court of Appeal and numerous administrative tribunals, including the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario.
Kumail was born in Kenya, grew up in Scarborough and has practised law for 18 years in Toronto. He represents employees from all walks of life and his employer clients include many non-profits, charities and co-operatives. He is proud to represent a number of social housing providers, arts organizations and social service agencies.
Kumail is also a mediator helping people to resolve disputes with Karimjee Resolutions Inc.
Kumail is the President of the Co-operative Housing Federation of Toronto Charitable Fund and volunteers as a mediator with St. Stephen’s Community House Conflict Resolution Service.
