Ramon Andal practices litigation, insurance coverage, professional liability, health law and administrative law. He served as member of the Board of Inquiry (Police Services Act), the Consent and Capacity Board and the Social Security Tribunal, Income Security Section. He was Contributing Editor of Insurance Law in Canada, and has been cited as an authority in insurance law by courts including the Supreme Court of Canada. He served as counsel to Filipino and Chinese advocacy groups in litigation and human rights matters including the Chinese Head Tax case. He is a founding member of the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers and served as director of the Peel Law Association. Ramon received recognition by the Law Society as an Early and Exceptional Ontario Lawyer of Filipino Heritage.
