Tushar Pain graduated from the University of Alberta Law School and has been in private practice for more than twenty years. His areas of practice are restricted to criminal law and family law and include both trials and appeals. He has represented clients in the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice, as well as the Ontario Court of Appeal. For the last several years, he has also coached a high school mock trial team, which participates in the annual York Region 'Judges' Cup' Mock Trial Tournament, organized by the Ontario Justice Education Network (OJEN). He also sits on the Board of Directors for his local Federal Riding Association.
