Emile Carrington

Graduated with a B.A. from McGill University in 1989 and a J.D. from the University of British Columbia in 1992. Crown Counsel (Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General) since 1994.
Currently assigned to the Attorney General’s Guns and Gangs Initiative. Has prosecuted several homicide trials and complex gang-related cases. Has appeared on numerous appeal cases in the Superior Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court of Canada. Acted as
Discipline Counsel for the Law Society of Upper Canada in 2001 and 2002. Has published several articles relating to Canadian criminal law.
Has been a Board member of Tropicana Community Services and Catholic Crosscultural Services. Has also volunteered for C.A.B.L, Frontier College Literacy programs and the Ontario Justice Education Network.
