Atoosa Mahdavian

Atoosa Mahdavian was called to the Ontario Bar in 1997, I am one of the most senior Iranian-Canadian practising law in Ontario. I was one of the first Iranian-Canadians to make partner at a Bay street law firm. In 2005, I was recognized by the Iranian-Canadian Network as one of five women who have shown leadership in their profession and are seen as an inspiration for the community.
I have nearly 20 years of diverse civil/commercial litigation experience working at a prominent litigation boutique firm and at a large Bay Street firm. In 2015, I established my own litigation practice.
I am fluent in Persian (Farsi) and French. I have strived to make the profession accessible to my community. In 2002, I co-founded the first Iranian lawyers group in Ontario. In 2014, it merged with another group to form the Iranian Canadian Legal Professionals (ICLP). I am the Chair of ICLP, a member within RODA.
